At the end of the WWI Russian air forces received firsts bombers "Ilya Muromets". That was a huge plane (aprox. 20 meters in lenght, with 30 meters long wings) made especially for the point airstrikes. As a power source, were used 4 motors (150 horse power each). The armament consisted of several machine guns and from 300 to 1000 killogramms of bombs. For the begining of XX century it was horrendously much. Plane was possible to fly up to 3000 meters over sea limit. That means, that the enemy aircraft, often was impossible to cause at least any damage.
